Dr. Alexa Sheppard was born and raised in Indianapolis Indiana. She attended DePauw University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Exercise Science.

After college she worked in a chiropractic office and saw the difference it made in the lives of the patients coming in for treatment. After seeing first hand the benefits of chiropractic, she then went on to chiropractic school at National University of Health Sciences.

Alexa has grown up with chiropractic care and has been adjusted since birth. She played many sports growing up (basketball, volleyball, tennis, and golf to name a few) and has an interest treating sports injuries. She also enjoys treating young athletes, pregnant women, and people suffering from injuries sustained in auto accidents.
