Dr. Steve Brown received both his Doctor of Chiropractic and Exercise & Sports Science Master’s degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Brown is a board certified chiropractor with ad
ditional training to be recognized as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner. In his clinical internship Dr. Brown worked 2 years in various settings affording the opportunity to work with athletes from all level, professional, NCAA Division 1, high school, and weekend warriors.

As a member of the Cycling team and Triathlon team while in college at the University of South Florida, Dr. Steve was frequently suffering from strains of over training. It was then that he discovered the value of a sports chiropractor who not only could understand his injuries, but understood his training. With adjusting, soft tissue work, such as dry needling, and rehab he was able to compete without injury. This experience led to his own training to become a Sports Chiropractor.

Today, Dr. Steve uses a functional movement approach to analyze how you’re moving and muscle testing to find underlying muscle compensation patterns. Combining traditional chiropractic adjusting with soft tissue work, rehab exercises, and targeted strengthening exercises, such as Foundation Training, ¬†allows him to not only get rid of the pain, but address the underlying issue.

Dr. Steve has competed in triathlon, cycling, and running for many years. He has competed in numerous triathlons, centuries, and running races. Most recently Ironman 70.3 Florida, Central Park Marathon, and the Queen’s Half Marathon, Ironman Boulder, Rock & Roll Marathon, and Central Park Marathon.

Outside of racing, Dr. Steve enjoys hiking, camping and exploring Colorado’s beautiful outdoors with his wife and two dogs.
